Roof

In 2023, we put a new lid on the firehouse. The previous roof was mostly composite shingles and the east side had a rubber roof. This rubber roof required resealing every few years. Now the entire building has fresh plywood sheathing and all composite shingles. When replacing the roof, the contractors noted that under the shingles was plank bords, not plywood. This project was a long time coming. Thankfully we have never had a leak in the roof.
