In 2021, the fire district expanded the parking lot adding an 80'x80' base layer. The following year they had it paved and also repaved the existing parking lot including the wrap around and single lane driveway on the west side of the firehouse improving the surface. The single lane has been designated as foot traffic only. We installed signs and traffic bollards to provide a safe area for those passing through to get to the rail trail. If you are traveling along this section from the rear of the firehouse, please take notice of the flashing red light and sign. When the light is illuminated, this means the garage door is open and the fire trucks may be leaving or backing into the station.
