Elaine Fiore

Position: President

Elaine and her young family moved to the neighborhood in 1969. While starting to make new friends, in 1972 she was invited by an auxiliary member to their next meeting. She was hooked that night. The auxiliary was a separate organization with a sole purpose to support the fire company. They did this by hosting community events and fundraisers. When their was a fire the auxiliary would provide refreshment for the firefighters. By the mid 1980's, the auxiliary was being held together by 4 members. They decided to disband and turn all of their funds over to the fire company. Elaine wasn't finished volunteering; She joined the fire company itself. She initially tried to belong as an active member, but found it wasn't the right fit for her. She instead transitioned to an associate member status. She is now the company President.

"The feeling of belonging to something of importance, knowing that even I can make a difference." - President Elaine Fiore
